Connie Tholer, Duanesburg High School, Project Management Teacher. Using PMI-provided curricula (including the PMBOK), Connie is teaching project management to a group of high school students. Putting into practice the mission of PMI’s Education Foundation, Connie (and her students) can provide Region 4 attendees real-world ideas and tasks to bring project management into our high schools

Sponsors, UNY-PMI is currently aggressively seeking sponsors to underwrite conference costs.
Give-Aways, UNY-PMI plans to offer a number of thoughtful, Upstate NY type gifts for registration.
Social Activities, UNY-PMI is currently not planning any scheduled events, registrants will receive a menu of activities, including the Saratoga Arts Festival (www.saratogaartsfest.org/), Restaurant Guide, etc.
PDUs, 10 PDUs will be provided.
Hospitality Room, Registrants and sponsors will have access to a UNY-PMI provided hospitality room for break out, cocktails, etc.
Banquet, Saturday night’s banquet is being planned by the Region 4 Mentor. This will be on site at the Gideon.
Travel, Albany International Airport is about 30 mins. away. Rental cars are available, but likely not needed as the Gideon does offer shuttles for $60/trip; 1 person - $60; 10 people, $60... Saratoga is off I-87, exit 13 North; approximately 4 hours from Rochester, 5.5 hours from Buffalo; 4.5 hours from metro NYC. Shuttles downtown are free; restaurants are within walking distance for the somewhat bold; 5 mins by car.
