Implementations Human Resources Information Systems (Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, etc.) offer unique challenges to project managers and implementation specialists. Systems have drastically changed over the past few years as many software vendors have moved to Software as a Service (SaaS) and Application Service Provider (ASP) deployment and delivery model. As software vendors are changing and evolving implementation methodologies are changing and project management challenges are increasing. Applications are often sunset before a year of use has passed or even before the deployment is complete. On demand applications require on demand project management skill sets!
This session focuses on some of the unique project management challenges in the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) vertical market. The speaker has been in the trenches with many of the software industry leaders and will speak of real life stories.
