Business Continuity Planning: The Forgotten Project

Business continuity planning is often a forgotten aspect of a project. This month, our presentation will provide an understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery planning showing its scope and importance within an organization. The case reviewed will highlight the critical role project management has in developing a successful plan, and include lessons learned from recent experience.
An experienced project and business development manager, Chris has led successful strategy formulation and implementation activities in both local and global organizations. He has been with Empire Corporate Federal Credit Union since August, recently relocating from the Sarasota Florida area. He is presently a Project Manager with the organization.
In addition to earning his MBA from the University of South Florida, he is also is a credentialed Associate Business Continuity Planner (ABCP) and is a member of the Association of Contingency Planners.
