The new Student Center will incorporate 3 major functions for the College. One being a new 8,000sf - 500 seat sloped seated Lecture Hall, a 5,900sf - 350 seat Dining Room with kitchen facilities, and a 3,900sf bookstore to be utilized by the ACP, Albany Law School, and Albany Medical College. The entire square footage of the New Student Facility is to be nearly 55,000sf. The exterior facade is to be skinned with a combination of split ground faced block, brick, pre-finished Alucobond wall panels and an extensive use of glass with special design elements to be incorporated into the Atrium.

Sano-Rubin won the contract for construction of the Student Center. Project Managers from Sano-Rubin will lead the PMI members and guests on a guided tour of the facility, which is nearing completion.

We will gather at Albany College of Pharmacy construction site for the tour of the student center between 5:15 and 5:30. The tour will run from 5:30 to 6:30, after which we will go to the Italian-American Community Center (see directions) at 7:00. Dinner will be served at 7:30 followed by a brief presentation and questions from 8:30 to 9:00.
