Public speaking is often viewed as a very stressful activity. Many people
become anxious and fearful about the prospect of standing in front of an
audience. But public speaking does not have to be difficult. It can be as
easy as 1-2-3. In her presentation, Michelle Goodwine, President and Founder
of Integrated HR Strategies, Inc., will talk about the steps to successful
public speaking. By the end of this presentation, participants will be able
to deliver a great message without fear, but with confidence
(& without being boring!).
As President and Founder of Integrated HR Strategies (formerly RML Associates of NY, Inc.), a human resources and management consulting firm, Michelle and her team of consultants provide comprehensive recruitment and retention solutions to companies and nonprofit organizations. As an entrepreneur and professional speaker, Michelle is an expert on human resources, diversity, business, technology, and educational issues. Described by those who have experienced her talks as energetic, enthusiastic, and most importantly, enlightening, Michelle has presented at workshops, seminars, and conferences throughout America for over fifteen years. Michelle has also taught college courses and written articles published in various publications including the Capital District Business Review. She is currently writing Cultivating Your Connections, a how-to book about maintaining a professional network. Michelle is also member of several professional organizations and founded FOCUS (Female Owners Creating Unique Strategies).
Michelle received her Masters of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the State University of New York at Albany's Rockefeller College of Public Affairs, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Howard University. Currently Michelle is working to complete her Ph.D. in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Management from Rockefeller College.
