Yet Dr. Stephen Covey, world-famous author, entrepreneur and consultant says that the soft skills are actually the "hard skills." The hard skills take much time, attention and practice to master.
Tina Marzano PMP, will bring you back to basics in this presentation of Project Communication Management. A refresher of the tools necessary for an effective communication management plan will be discussed. Also in this interactive session she will demonstrate the importance of open communication as an overall critical success factor in project management.
Through her consulting firm, she brings nearly 20 years of project management and leadership/management experience to organizations with special emphasis on start-up programs. She earned her strong reputation by successfully leading geographically dispersed teams, managing multiple projects concurrently, and turning many business start-ups into successful ongoing operations.
Her assignments generally involve evaluating an organization's current project management framework and recommending changes to more effectively manage projects to successful completion. Her consulting services also include assisting organizations in setting up project offices as well as the overall management of projects. She also frequently speaks to professional organizations on the topics of project management and employee motivation.
She has held various leadership positions in professional organizations including vice-president of programs and nominating chair for our local chapter, president of Empire Business Network, facilities chair of American Society for Training and Development's annual Trainers' Conference, leader of the Consulting Alliance's Project Management Task Force and member of the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce.
