Summer Recess

As always, our chapter takes a hiatus during the summer. Programs will recommence on at The Italian American Community Center, off of Washington Avenue Extension, in Colonie.

The board will be meeting over the summer to plan additional topics and speakers. We will post more details as they become available.

Welcome to the PMI Upstate
New York Chapter

The PMI Upstate New York Chapter provides a forum to promote the principles of the PMI through networking with other project managers, sharing project experiences, providing and receiving training and supporting Project Management leaders in their certification efforts.

The UNY-PMI membership is comprised of about professionals from dozens of companies and a wide variety of industries. The diversity of the UNY Chapter provides an environment for learning about all aspects of project management and networking across industries.

We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (September thru November and January thru May) at The Italian American Community Center in Colonie (see directions).

These meetings are open to both members and guests - if you are joining us as a guest you can find information on the benefits of membership, on our How to Join page.

Also, by attending the monthly chapter meetings, attendees have the opportunity to earn 1 PDU towards maintaining their PMP Certification.

Fall 2010 PMP Prep Workshop

Are you interested in getting PMP certified?

Registration is now open for the Fall 2010 PMP Prep Workshop. This program is offered by the Upstate New York PMI Chapter and is open to anyone interested in preparing for the PMP exam. This is a fast-paced review of the entire PMBOK v4 contents, including all of the knowledge areas covered by the PMP Certification exam.
